About us
The Pinkney foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to serve underprivileged urban youth by providing them with various youth development programs and projects that will assist in developing essential Life Skills in various areas such as Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship, Education, Arts & Humanities, and Recreation.
The foundation was co-founded in December 2018 by husband and wife duo, Preston and JaVonnie Pinkney.
Mr. Pinkney has served as program director of the Ace Kids Golf Program in Oakland, Ca, where he directed the daily operations which has served over 6,000 youth during his 20 years with the City of Oakland Parks & Recreation Department.
Mrs. Pinkney has 20 years experience as a Financial Center Manager in the finance industry.
When she is not at the bank, she enjoys teaching financial literacy to our youth.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create positive and productive citizens through youth development, life skills, and educational opportunities using sports, arts, and technology.
Our Goal
Help us reach our fundraising goal of $3,000,000
to impact 2,500 youth and employ up to 50 youth in the
San Francisco Bay Area in the next 5 years.
RAPP
PROGRAM
The Pinkney Foundation in partnership with the City of Richmond ECIA Grant and K-Lou Recording Studios offers the Richmond Academy of Positive Productions (RAPP) program.

The Pinkney Foundation believes strongly in youth learning by providing them with an opportunity to learn about financial planning & management.

Pinkney Community Youth Golf Program
The Pinkney Foundation supports healthy recreational activities for youth within their respective communities.
